I am a current Americorps volunteer, just graduated from college, and I think hardworking. I have a pretty good resume as previous work and scholarships / awards / internships while in school. I'm from Kansas, and I'm looking for a place to move that has torn pretty decent, well-paid jobs, and is a liberal and accepting community. I'm gay and moves with my girlfriend. If this changes your reply I was a great design in college and currently work with inner-city teenagers in New York as education coordinator. I'm interested in nonprofit work nothing design / art related. My girlfriend is very open to any positions. Does anyone know of a good city / town to begin our lives? We are open to any town, city or state in the United States. (O Canada!)
Eugene Oregon Seattle Washington most of California (you have to look outside the area Bay or areas of Los Angeles for cheaper rents, but you get what you pay for
