To address Health Care could not provide the benefit of insurance companies?
The purpose of insurance is to that no profits to provide the best service at the lowest price. This is the main reason why health care is so expensive. The purpose of a company without profit is to serve the cause it represents. So if the government changed the health insurance industry full of non-profit that could use the money to benefit to reduce costs and ensure more people in a better way. The government could regulate the industry without taking over and there would be no risk of increasing the deficit. People which they own shares for bonds and the nonprofit would pay the debt over time. In addition to this still could cut costs further by computerization of medical records, eliminating wasteful tests and procedures, focusing on preventive medicine and other measures. I think this is the type of system the American people want.
A health care setting could prevent people from getting sick by the elimination of all diseases and ailments, including but not limited to, the Congress, the presidency, taxes, regulations, welfare, etc..
