It is the real reason marijuana remains illegal, as it would be competition for Big Pharma industry?
It seems that finally legalized of marijuana would reduce the profits of the pharmaceutical industry. (Especially antidepressants, etc) Why? It would be much cheaper and achieve approximately the same effects and is all natural. What do you think?
Oh, yes, pharmaceutical companies are in a panic, and are selling twice as long to get up to speed. Unfortunately (or fortunately, however you want to look at it), the THC can not be synthesized. In reality, a biggest roadblock is that pharmaceutical products, but the same industry that was very instrumental in pushing to have declared illegal – the liquor industry. When PR did Hiram Walker for many years ago, there was a White Paper was saying that the liquor industry could lose 40-60% of its business if the pot is legalized.
