When the price of oil is at a very high level, how the oil companies record profits?
I'm talking about companies buying and not the oil refining companies that actually sell the crude. When the price of wheat goes up, you do not see the bakers making record profits for oil companies, how?
Because people are not cuts in buying. Lok in SUV sales. Have you fallen? No. While the drive does not see people driving slower to save? No. Until people slow their buying of oil companies will continue to provide benefits GRET. I'm not sure the government controls business, however. Has to be done by supply and demand. Someone needs to develop better alternatives and then we as consumers have to buy such alternatives. j
