Any suggestions on how to advertise a not-for-profit, computer help website aimed at the elderly?
How to advertise/make known a new Computer & internet help website that is mainly aimed at the elderly or over 50’s.. We are a not-for-profit organisation meaning we have little or no budget to spend on hosting… Any ideas? I have got us an article in local newsletters/papers, but we need more ideas! Do you know any good magazines that might be beneficial to us that we can stick our site in for free. Or any ways to help get us known are apprechiated. many thanks!
You could try affiliating with other sites, so you advertise their site and they advertise your site.
Posters etc in local libraries, waiting rooms at drs dentists opticians etc. You can make the posters yourself.
I have a non profit organisation raising money for GOSH which is very difficult but I also market for a company that allows marketing expenses which is alot easier as I do telephone calls, emails, postal letters. But that’s all at an expense
Have you tried calling your local radio stations they helped me with my non profitable one loads as they plug it on the radio.
Once you are notice by a few people, word of mouth takes you far.
